Stephen Fitzgerald

Steve trained in acting, singing, and dance in New York City in his youth, and is absolutely delighted to return to theatre at this later stage of life. He made his San Diego debut as Professor Van Helsing in Dracula at the Innovation Family Community Theatre’s inaugural production in Kearny Mesa (10/23). Since then he has performed on stage throughout San Diego County. He has really enjoyed supporting the development of young actors and new work through performing in Trinity Theatre’s third New Works Festival and The Lamplighters’ first Playwrights’ Festival, where he also had the opportunity to direct a short play.

From New York to L.A. and now San Diego, Steve has performed for audiences of up to 8,000 people, in a one-man cabaret act, and on TV’s General Hospital. His original U-Can Sue for Xmas parodies aired to acclaim on local and national radio. He is also an organizational psychologist who loves to hike, camp, backpack – and SING – in the great outdoors!
