Brandi Newton

Brandi Newton – Performer | Vocalist | Backstage Leader

With a voice as bright and soaring as the roles she was born to play, Brandi Newton is a musical theatre soprano who brings heart, strength, and expressive nuance to every performance. A natural fit for dynamic leading roles such as Amalia Balash (She Loves Me), Maria (The Sound of Music), or Fiona (Brigadoon), Brandi blends classical clarity with a contemporary vocal edge that adapts seamlessly to a wide range of styles. Her range (D3–D6) and ability to tell a story through song make her a standout for both featured and leading roles in musical theatre.

But Brandi’s impact doesn’t end under the lights. Behind the curtain, she’s a trusted backstage leader, having served as both Deck Captain and Props Master for youth theatre productions. Known for her precision, creativity, and reliability, she has created everything from the exploding bird in Shrek to light-up, motion-activated props, as well as whimsical oversized pieces like giant realistic cupcakes, oversized Wonka bars, and a three-foot rolling pin and spatula.

Brandi is warm and grounded, with a contagious enthusiasm that draws others in. She thrives in the camaraderie of a creative team and is inspired by theatre’s unique power to unite all the arts into one immersive, magical experience. Thoughtfully ambitious and passionate about helping everyone shine, she brings artistry, dedication, and a deep sense of connection to every project—whether onstage delivering a heartfelt ballad or backstage engineering theatrical magic.
